We include several drones in the light class category, including the small, fast and agile Mavic Pro and Mavic Air, and the heavier brother Mavic 2 Pro with a Hasselblad camera system. The light class drones are perfect for tight, busy or populated areas, and are usually the go to solution for the majority of projects.

Equipped with up to 4K, 20MP camera, our light class drones come with a 3-axis shock mounted gimbal allowing for incredibly smooth aerial footage. Able to be piloted and operated by one person, and stay in the air for approximately 24 minutes, the light class drones are an excellent solution for consumer grade productions, social media and small business creative projects.

Recommended for:

Light class drones can excel in variety of situations and are best used for consumer grade productions, in tight or noise restricted areas, and where regulations prohibit drones over 1kg.

heavy class drones (over 1kg)

The heavy class drones Inspire 2, and the Matrice, are professional grade unmanned aerial vehicles, and are the best cinematic drones in the market, used for TV, land surveying and advertisement productions. Powerful cameras, independently attached to the drone's payload, capture cinema-quality (up to) 5.2K video.

Weighing up to 12 pounds, the heavy class drones offer ultra stable, tripod quality footage while in the air, and can reach speeds of up to 94 km/h. The dual battery system extends flight time to 26 minutes, and the self heating technology allows us to fly in a larger variety of Canadian temperatures.

Recommended for:

Heavy class drones, min. crew size of two, are best used for commercial grade productions, flying in cold or windy climates, high speed filming, and performing mapping or surveying.
